Understanding our return policy

Advantage Rigging is a very customer service oriented company and we want to add value to your rigging and transport purchases compared to our competition. To that end, we ship free on orders over $25, and we have a very generous return policy. Occasionally customers are confused about our return policy, which is published here on our website. 

Returns must be in unused condition. If the item is used the return will not be accepted. 

Returns must be within a 14 day window of your date of delivery

Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. We recommend packing and shipping using the same type of USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes we use to ship to you. It is almost always the most economical way to transport the heavy items we sell. 

When you return an item we lose our original shipping cost to get the item to you. If you return the item and it was not through any fault of our own (the item was non-defective and we shipped you the right thing,) then we deduct the real cost incurred shipping the item to you from the refund total, which is fair. We wouldn't be able to offer free shipping and competitive prices to our satisfied customers otherwise. 

Standard shipping does not have a guaranteed delivery date. If you require the item by a specific time, please contact us to arrange expedited shipping. We cannot be responsible for deliveries that do not arrive when expected using standard shipping. 

On the other hand, if your item is lost in the mail we'll reship you the same item again, at no extra charge. If we send you the wrong item, or if the item is defective, we'll make it right at no further expense to you. 

In fact, when you purchase directly from us at advantagerigging.com, it allows us more flexibility in addressing your issues by store credit, discounts or other methods than when you buy through external sites and auctions we also sell through. When purchased through those other sites, a return and refund that ties up the funds for both of us and takes longer to resolve is often the only solution available to us. 

Finally, custom cut chain is non-refundable.
